
CIAO! Crunch Salad
This salad is bold, crisp, and dressed to impress. With green iceberg lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, and a sweet-and-savory honey mustard vinaigrette, it’s finished with crispy bacon and a generous pour of bold Italian olive oil — the kind that makes every bite sing. Serves 2–3.
Ingredients
- 1 small head iceberg lettuce, chopped (about 3 cups)
- 1 bunch watercress, trimmed (about 2 ¾ cups)
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 7 oz bacon (about 7–8 slices), cooked and crumbled
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ½ cup Ciao! Sicilian extra virgin olive oil – bold, fragrant, and deeply flavorful
- 1 ½ tablespoons honey
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Steps
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels, let cool, then crumble into delicious shards.
- In a large bowl, toss together iceberg lettuce, watercress, and cherry tomatoes.
